Staines Cong is a lively and active church with a mission to show Christian love in action and to lead people to Jesus Christ.
At Staines Cong, we are so Thankful for the amount of young people we have…..but we’d love to see more! Come and find out how loved you are by God!
We are a church where relationships matter – with our Lord, our members and our Youth. We are not only a Sunday church – you will find things going on most days and people getting involved in and outside of our buildings in many different ways.
We have a number of activities aimed at children of all ages, some take place during our church service on a Sunday and some run during the week (Some of the clubs have a membership fee or a donation request).
Sunday Clubs
Our Sunday clubs have weekly groups for Creche, Pre-school and children up to 14 years old, with groups for older teenagers (MIMIC) meeting monthly.
Our Service starts at 10:30am and the children head out to their various groups about 10:50-11am
Creche: Age 1 – 2 years old
Bubbles: Pre-school – Year 2
Explorers & Connect: Year 3 – Year 6
Grid: Year 7 – Year 9
Mimic: Years 10 – 13 (monthly)
During the school holidays there is a more family focussed service and the children remain in the service (Creche available through
Friday Night Youth Clubs
In addition to our Sunday Clubs, we also have a number of Youth Groups that meet on Fridays for sports, games, arts & crafts, trips and much, much more!

Buggies & Bikes
Buggies & Bikes is a morning playgroup session for children aged 0 – 4 and their carers. We meet at our Youth Hall every Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30am to 11.30am. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you have a Faith.
We serve refreshments for both adults and children during the session, and always have story time, singing and craft. The focus is on free-play for the children with plenty of chance to socialise with others. Buggies & Bikes is a great chance for adults to also interact with each other and our church volunteers.
We are ‘not for profit’ and currently operating on a on a donation basis to cover our running costs.
Our suggested donation is £2.50 per session. If you are a childminder and bring several children, we ask for £2.50 and then an additional 50p per additional child you bring.
Espresso Church
Espresso Church is a just like a shot of your favourite Italian coffee – stimulating, fun, informal and short! It is a Youth Led Service held on Sunday evenings aimed at teens and twenty-somethings, run by our young people, for young people. Everyone is welcome!
The usual bits of church are all there – band-led worship (Youth worship group), testimony, a Bible reading and short talk, but the context is different.
There are activities led by the Youth and plenty of interactive fellowship, There’s also wonderful plates of donuts, cakes, snacks and refreshments!! Conversation is constantly on the go and we sit around tables, café-style.
Please arrive from 5:45pm for the Service.
Following the service, the Youth from Year 7 and above are invited to stay for an activity (and usually some more food!) in the Main Hall

Young People’s Home Group
The YPHG is a dynamic collection of teenagers, mostly from Staines Cong, but with several attending as friends from other churches.
The Group is based firmly around Bible study, both for understanding more about our Christian faith, as well asc how Bible teaching is meant to be put into action in our lives.
Prayer is actively encouraged and followed and every meeting has opportunity for talking to God; for concerns and requests, and for thanks for answered prayers.
There is always time during meetings for some social chat and fellowship. All in all, our studies, prayers and the overall meeting time do have a tendency to over-run!
